Concept 1: Dog snout

The first concept overall was cute and fun, but wouldn't have been easy to print and might not be as effective.
Concept 2: Goop

The second concept was an attempt at a different style of hanging, but wouldn't have been very functional. The space it would have taken on a closet pole would be able to fit more traditional closet coat hangers.
Concept 3: Alien family
My ranking: 15
Peer ranking: 15.3
The aliens were a fun idea and I was suggested a few ideas that would make it more stable (like making the base cone-shaped or look like a UFO) but it wasn't quite as strong initially.
Concept 4: Eclipse

The eclipse idea ranked pretty high because it's simple, conceptually fun, and wouldn't be too tricky as a 3D print.
Concept 5: Rat

Much like the alien family concept, the rat idea was conceptually fun but would need to be tweaked more to be printable and sturdy.
Concept 6: Moon
My ranking: 18
Peer ranking: 16
The overall thoughts on the moon idea were that it would work, but it's so similar to the eclipse and not as strong of an idea.
Winner: Concept 4 - Eclipse

My thoughts + revisions:
- I began messing around in Rhino to try and execute the eclipse idea with Chamfer and such, but I realized that I wanted to make it in one go so I could make it sturdier with the infill instead of relying on some kind of glue against the coat that would hang on it (hence the diagonal edge to connect the cylindrical shape to the "moon"). The connection to the moon may need to be edited.
- I changed the placement of the moon to be more centred to make sure it doesn't lean to one side from the weight.
- I also thought about potentially rounding out the edge of the moon to make it rounder, but I don't want it to sacrifice the hold that it would have on a coat and make it slide off.
